We are a Greek originated jewellery company, established in 1987, with other stores on Corfu Island. DION, the owner, opened his first store in the UK in August 2021. After a successful 18 months, we are now looking to broaden our members of staff and create a larger presence in Stratford-Upon-Avon!
Here at DION Jewellery Ltd we are looking for the perfect candidate who can help us expand our business online. This includes managing our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook), partaking in admin responsibilities (emails, responding to customers), taking content photos and data input for our website.
Job Title: Media Assistant
Job Description: Assist the company in growing aspects of our business online. We are looking for someone with a creative brain that is full of ideas to expand our company. The employee will have responsibilities and can gain substantial experience in handling media platforms and creating content.

Specific responsibilities:
- Managing social media accounts
- Creating new, popular content to attract customers and build our online presence
- Take product photos
- Update our website frequently with products
- Complete admin work such as responding to emails and customer messages
Ideal candidates:
- Excellent English Language writing and speaking skills
- Having a creative brain, willing to create innovative posts
- Knowledge of how to use social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
- Knowledge of/ willing to learn WordPress eCommerce platform
- Understand the basic computer skills for data input and data management
- Experience in photo editing

Job Title: Sales Assistant
Job Description: To provide excellent customer service in this face-to-face business with our clients. Provide support with the Sales team to maximise sales and improve customer experience in store.
Specific responsibilities :
- Obtain product knowledge and have a good understanding of the designers and products in store
- Greet and engage positively with each customer
- Provide excellent service to all aspects of the store including our company history, our social media platforms, packaging products
- Consistently contribute to the positive work environment and treat customers with respect
What skills will the employee learn:
- Have in-depth knowledge on jewellery, including different metals and stones and different selling techniques
- Learn about the company’s history and values
- Build confidence in themselves and participate in teamwork on the shop floor
Ideal candidates:
- Be an excellent communicator by initiating contact and communicate confidently
- Have the ability to work well under-pressure, where sales can become fast-paced when multiple customers enter the store
- Customer service focused; ensure the customer’s experience is the focal point by caring about each interaction
