Stratford Upon Avon Business Improvement District (BID) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Aaron Corsi as the new Manager for the BID, signalling a fresh start for the organisation as it embarks on a new 5-year term from 2024 to 2029.
With the recent confirmation from the government that they will be upholding this year’s BID ballot result, the appointment of Aaron Corsi comes at a pivotal moment for the Stratford Upon Avon BID.
Aaron, a 43-year-old resident of Warwick, is currently employed as the Service Manager for Place, Projects, and Partnerships at Warwickshire County Council and is scheduled to start his new role at the BID on 23 October.
Aaron’s strategic focus will encompass championing and supporting local businesses, fostering a safe and welcoming environment, and promoting inclusivity across the town. His vision includes showcasing the town’s diverse offerings and ensuring that Stratford-upon-Avon remains an inviting destination for all.
Drawing on his background in town centre activation and event management, Aaron will spearhead collaborative efforts with key stakeholders and the community to curate an engaging calendar of festivals and events. These initiatives aim to invigorate the town’s cultural landscape and ensure its long-term vibrancy and vitality.
Stratford Upon Avon BID looks forward to the positive impact Aaron Corsi will bring as he leads the organisation into this exciting new chapter. His appointment underscores the BID’s commitment to driving growth, fostering community engagement, and promoting Stratford-upon-Avon as a thriving hub for residents and visitors alike.
Aaron said “I’m delighted to be able to support the town, its businesses and both the residents and visitors. The town is rich in History, it has a unique appeal and its position in the County is one of strength already. The town has something for everyone to enjoy, residents and visitors alike. I want to use my positive attitude and expertise in running events and working with people across Warwickshire to shine a light on what is already great in the town and help to showcase opportunities our businesses can capitalise on.
I am a person who thrives on positivity, making the most of what we have and sharing the responsibility for making our places better. I’m really looking forward to building on business relationships and creating new relationships in the town. I would like to extend my arms out for help from the businesses and residents in the town to support me as the new BID Manager, I’m a firm believer that no single organisation or business can do it on their own and the BID can help coordinate a positive direction for the town, the BID and its businesses should lead by example in creating a town everyone is proud of all year round. “
Aaron’s appointment has been welcomed by the Board, Rich Jones BID Chair said: “We are delighted to welcome Aaron into the role and have no doubt that with his energy, experience, and positive enthusiasm he will be a great asset to the town. Aaron brings with him a wealth of knowledge and has been supporting local towns in Warwickshire over the last 9 years. Stratford Upon Avon BID has an exciting future and we look forward to seeing Aaron support our businesses, deliver the initiatives detailed within the new 5-year BID Business Plan and help to push forward the future development of the town”.
